New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday adopted a village called Uruva in Jagatpur block of Rae Bareli under Model Village Scheme.

An ambitious village development project was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under which each MP is suppose to take the responsibility of developing physical and institutional infrastructure in three villages by 2019.
