The statement came in the wake of the prime minister declaring the value of his assets at slightly over Rs 10 crore.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's assets have remained the same since he listed them on his official website last year and only their value has since increased, his office said on Monday.
"The assets are the same. Only their valuation has gone up. In fact, the prime minister had the valuation done by a government-approved valuator, which is a first," a spokesman said.
The statement came in the wake of the prime minister declaring the value of his assets at slightly over Rs 10 crore against Rs 5.1 crore last year.
