New Delhi: Opposition parties are not impressed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement warning leaders against making hate speeches and the comments against the minority community. While Modi said that violence against any community will not be tolerated, opposition leaders say the Prime Minister is just paying lip service to the minority community.

Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad said, "The work done by them is before everyone. They have tried to snatch the land of the poor farmer and try to develop a law in favour of the builders. There is no Lokpal, CVC or CIC in this government. He did not fulfilled even a single promise. There is big difference in what the PM says and what he does."

JDU leader Ali Anwar said Modi needs to take stern action against his ministers. "They do not act on any controversial statement by their own ministers. BJP has a double character. They say something and do something else. Such talks does not have any meaning."

In an interview to news agency UNI, Modi said, "Discrimination against any community won’t be tolerated."
