Karnataka: BJP lines up series of agitations
As a first step to seek justice, the BJP will parade all its 120 MLAs at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan on Monday.

Bangalore: It is back to streets for the BJP in general and Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in particular, as the party has lined up series of agitations throughout the State to protest against the "undemocratic action" of the Governor H R Bharadwaj to recommend the dismissal of the State Government despite enjoying the majority.

As a first step to seek justice, the BJP will parade all its 120 MLAs at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan on Monday evening. Proceeding to this are two meetings, one is that of the legislature party and second is the meeting of the party’s office-bearers.

"We will chalk out a detailed agitational plan throughout the state. The blue-print is going to be finalised in the office- bearers' meeting," party spokesperson Ayanur Manjunath told Express.

It is expected that Yeddyurappa, his cabinet colleagues and MLAs will stage a dharna in front of Raj Bhavan after which the battle will be taken to various district of the State.

The series of agitations which the party has planned is going to be held at various strata - state, district, taluk and mandal level - aimed at achieving four objectives - galvanise party cadre from the booth level; create a powerful anti-Congress and anti-JD (S) mood; and generate sympathy for party.
