Jamshedpur: Jharkhand People's Party (JPP) on Sunday released its first list of candidates for the ten Assembly constituencies, including six ST seats, for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. JPP, which has already announced to contest all the 81
Assembly seats on its own, declared party chief Surya Singh Besra as its chief ministerial candidate. Addressing a press conference, Besra said the first list of ten candidates had been finalized while screening of candidates for the remaining seats is on.
He also accused BJP, Congress and regional parties of ignoring the interest of the state and its people saying they all shared power during the last 14 years in the state but did no good to it and instead promoted corruption. JPP president promised to provide a corruption-free and development oriented government in Jharkhand.
