Udaipur: With the Narendra Modi dispensation completing a year in office, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday said that a "corruption-free" government is one of its major achievements.
"Our government delivered good governance without corruption. This is our big achievement. There was not a single allegation of corruption on this government," Swaraj said in Udaipur.
"Corruption was rampant during the UPA government's rule but we changed the system to bring transparency," she told reporters in Udaipur on completion of one year of the government.
"There was coal scam during the previous regime but we adopted the system of auction so that there is no chance of corruption," the Union minister added.
Swaraj said that the Modi government extended social security by introducing Atal Pension Yojna and took many other steps for welfare of people and also financial inclusion.
