Rohit Sharma’s daughter Samaira has won hearts on the internet with her adorable getup for Halloween.

From children to adults, people donned their choice of outfits as they left to collect candies. Amongst them was Team India captain Rohit Sharma’s four-year-old daughter Samaira.

The little one dressed up as her father on the occasion and her cute pictures have now gone viral.

Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh shared the photographs of their daughter wearing her father’s jersey with his number 45 printed on the back on Instagram Stories.

In the pictures, Samaira can be seen all smiles while grasping her little pumpkin-shaped candy holder. In the caption, Ritika wrote, “Look who went as Rohit Sharma for Halloween”.

Rohit and Ritika Sajdeh tied the knot back in December 2015. While Rohit has been an active part of the Indian squad since the late 2000s, Ritika used to be a sports manager.

After dating for some time, they announced their engagement in 2015 before tying the knot in the same year in December. The couple welcomed their first child three years later when their daughter Samaira was born in 2018.

Earlier last month, Ritika uploaded another heartwarming post of her daughter on social media.

At that time, Ritika had to leave Samaira at home as she travelled to Chennai to support her husband Rohit who was leading India in their World Cup opener against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

After a phenomenal bowling performance, Australia were halted to a tally of 199 runs. Rohit couldn’t make much impact in the second half of the game as he was dismissed at a duck for six balls by Josh Hazlewood.

KL Rahul and Virat Kohli stepped up in that game, guiding India to a comfortable six-wicket victory.

Things have improved for the India skipper since then as he currently stands as the fourth-highest scorer in the tournament with 398 runs in six matches.

He has put up these numbers while maintaining an impressive average of 66.33.

His most recent knock against England in India’s previous World Cup game saw the skipper belt 87 runs against the defending champions. He hit 10 fours and three sixes in that game, contributing to India’s 100-run victory over their rivals.
