DU First Cut Off List 2020: 100% in 3 Courses for Lady Shri Ram College; Miranda House, SRCC Follow with 99%

Miranda House has set its cut-off for BA (Hons) English at 99.00 per cent, BA (Hons) History at 98.75 per cent, BA (Hons) Political Science at 99.00, BA (Hons) Sociology at 98.50 per cent and BA (Hons) Economics 98.75 percent respectively.

Delhi University (DU) announced its first cut-off list for undergraduate admissions on Saturday for the academic year 2020-21. Lady Shri Ram College For Women pegged the highest cut-off at 100 per cent for three for courses for general category aspirants – BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Political Science and BA (Hons) Psychology, followed by 99.75 per cent in BA Statistics (Hons) course.

The college has also announced cut-off for B Com (Hons) at 99.75 per cent, 99.00 per cent for BA (Hons) English, and BA (Hons) Journalism course. For admissions to BA (Hons) History, the cut-off is at 99.50 per cent. Cut-offs for BA (Hons) Sociology is at 99.25 and BA (Hons) Philosophy is at 98.00. The cut off for BA Mathematics (Hons) is at 97.25 per cent.

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has announced a cut-off of 99.00 per cent for BA (Hons) Economics and 99.50 per cent for B Com (Hons). Miranda House has set its cut-off for BA (Hons) English at 99.00 per cent, BA (Hons) History at 98.75 per cent, BA (Hons) Political Science at 99.00, BA (Hons) Sociology at 98.50 per cent and BA (Hons) Economics 98.75 per cent respectively. Hindu College held its cut off for BA Statistics (Hons) at 99.25 per cent, BA (Hons) Economics at 99.25% and BA (Hons) Political Science at 99.50%. The college also has a cut-off of 98.3 per cent for BSC (Hons) Chemistry, 99.00 per cent for BSc (Hons) Mathematics and 99.33 per cent for BSc (Hons) Physics.

Nearly 70,000 undergraduate seats are up for grabs with the admission process commencing from October 12. University officials had said that cut-offs would be higher this year owing to more students scoring above 90 per cent marks in board examinations. The admission process will be completely online due to the coronavirus pandemic. The new session will commence from November 18.

DU issued a notification stating that the cut-off list will be released by Monday or October 12. Eligible candidates who meet the requirements notified in the first cut off list are advised to complete their admission formalities through online mode within the stipulated time, as notified earlier on the university website.
