'Phele Indian Police Force, Phir Yodha': Sidharth Malhotra Engages In Candid Chat With Paps

Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra was recently papped in the city. The actor, known for his suave style and charismatic presence, also indulged the paparazzi in a candid conversation about his upcoming projects. Dressed in a stylish ensemble comprising a light blue shirt, charcoal denim pants, blue printed sneakers, and a pair of trendy blue sunglasses, Sidharth Malhotra looked every bit the star as he posed graciously for the cameras.

The excitement reached a fever pitch as the paparazzi enthusiastically called out the names of his upcoming movies, and Sidharth responded with equal enthusiasm. The paparazzi initially mentioned Sidharth’s forthcoming action-thriller TV series, Indian Police Force, followed by enthusiastic calls for his next project, Yodha. Sidharth playfully remarked to the paparazzi, “Pehlay Police Force, Phir Yodha,” highlighting the sequence of his upcoming ventures.

The first project in the limelight was the action-thriller TV series titled Indian Police Force. The actor will be portraying a Delhi Police Officer named Kabir Malik. The recently released 3-minute trailer showcased Sidharth leading his team on a relentless pursuit of a criminal responsible for a series of bomb blasts in the city. As chaos unfolds, Kabir Malik declares, “Snaap hamare saath khelna chahta hai. Par hum khelte nahi… Delhi Police khel khatam karti hai (The snake wants to play with us. But we do not play games, the Delhi Police ends it).”

The collaboration between Sidharth Malhotra and renowned filmmaker Rohit Shetty in the Indian Police Force was a result of a chance encounter. Rohit revealed to Bollywood Hungama that while planning a movie together, he narrated the web series to Sidharth, who immediately agreed to come on board for this action-packed venture. Rohit humorously mentioned that the choice was simple – Sidharth is “the most handsome cop.”

The ensemble cast of Indian Police Force adds further star power to the project, with Lalit Parimoo, Vivek Oberoi, Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, and Shilpa Shetty playing crucial roles.

Adding to the excitement, Dharma Productions revealed that Sidharth Malhotra’s action film Yodha is set to hit theatres on March 15, 2024. Directed by the debutant duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, Yodha is a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Films, backed by Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. Originally slated for a July release, the film also features Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
