Veteran actresses Neetu Singh and Zeenat Aman were the latest guests on Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee with Karan 8. Besides talking about their professional lives, the actresses also spoke about their respective families and kids. Neetu Singh, whose granddaughter Raha Kapoor turned one year old in November last year, shared that she has ‘mini battles’ with Alia’s mother Soni Razdan over the baby’s first words.
She said, “At my home, the baby is growing. I keep instructing the help to tell her to say ‘papa’. But Soni says to tell her to say ‘mumma’.” She added, “So, I went the other day to the house and Alia says, ‘Oh, by the way, she said mumma. So, I said, she didn’t say mumma but she said mum-mum. So, don’t be so happy.” Neetu mimicked Alia, leaving Karan in splits.
The filmmaker said, “You’re having this mini battle.” He congratulated Neetu on Raha’s birth and said that she’s so beautiful that she looks like she’s ‘AI-generated’. Neetu then said, “I feel this name just suits her. I feel very rahat when I see her. She has got such a beautiful lovely, happy face.”
Karan then spoke about Raha’s beautiful eyes. Her eyes had become the talk of the town when Ranbir and Alia had finally revealed her face to the public at the annual Kapoor Christmas lunch last year. Fans even compared Raha to Ranbir, Alia, Kareena, Rishi and Raj Kapoor.
During their joint appearance on Koffee with Karan 8, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor also debated over whom Raha resembles the most. Kareena said that Raha looks a lot like Ranbir Kapoor. However, Alia disagreed and said, “Bebo has been saying…she is the only one…” Alia then added, “I think she looks like both of them. I think she is genuinely a very good balance both of us; in fact, a lot of the time, she looks like Ranbir’s dad (Rishi Kapoor).”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed Raha into the world on November 6, 2022.
