Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner Reach Temporary Agreement On Custody Issues: Report
An interim consent order has been arranged for the custody of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 15 months.

Estranged couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have apparently reached a temporary agreement on custody issues before their divorce is finalised in January 2024. The duo began mediation from October 4-7 regarding their two daughters after the Game of Thrones star sued Joe Jonas for “wrongful retention.” She alleged the musician was wrongfully withholding their daughter’s passport to stop them from returning to England. Now, as per a report in People, court documents suggest an interim consent order has been arranged for the custody of Willa, 3, and Delphine, 15 months. The order approves the kids’ return to Sophie between October 9-21. During this time frame, Willa and Delphine are permitted to travel throughout the United States and England.

The kids will then be placed under Joe Jonas’ custody from October 21 to November 2 with similar travel permission. The switch will continue with Sophie retaining the custody from November 2-22, followed by Joe from November 22 to December 16. The estranged couple’s daughters will spend the holiday with Sophie Turner between December 16 to January 7. The agreement calls for the parents to submit a report on their future plans for custody by December 23.

The complaint by Sophie Turner was filed just weeks after the couple made their divorce announcement public. The Game of Thrones alum sought the immediate return of her children’s passport claiming the “wrongful retention” started on September 20.

Rubbishing Sophie’s claims, Joe released a statement of being under the impression that the two have reached an agreement for devising a co-parenting plan. The estranged couple reached a temporary agreement a few days later to keep their daughters in New York City. Followed by participating in a 4-day mediation to resolve the custody issues.

The couple began dating in 2016 after connecting through Instagram DMs and later tied the knot in 2019 in two different wedding ceremonies. It was on September 5, the Jonas Brothers’ vocalist filed for dissolution of marriage citing their vind “irretrievably broken” after four years of being together. The couple put out a joint statement of “amicable” separation on social media until Sophie sued Joe for custody of their daughters. The date of their divorce trial is set for January 2.
