The latest episode of Karan Johar’s popular talk show Koffee with Karan 8 saw Khushi Kapoor make her debut on the Koffee Couch with her sister Janhvi Kapoor. It was also the first time that the two sisters appeared for an interview together. During the episode, Janhvi said that if she could set up Khushi with an actor, she would pick Vedang Raina.
During the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Janhvi, “If you could set up Khushi with someone from the industry, who would it be?” Janhvi replied, “Vedang is cute. They are cute. They look cute. He’s got a good vibe.” Meanwhile, Khushi smiled and nodded.
Earlier during the episode, Karan had asked Khushi if there was any truth to the rumours that she was dating Vedang Raina. She said, “False. I say false, It’s not true.” She later added, “You know that scene in Om Shanti Om where there is a row of people saying, ‘Om and I are just good friends.'”
A day before the release of the episode, Vedang was spotted returning to Mumbai after celebrating New Year’s with Khushi, Janhvi, Boney Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya. However, the actor had previously denied the dating rumours.
The actor addressed rumours in the interview and clarified that he and Khushi are just good friends. “Khushi and I connected on so many levels. We had a similar taste in music. Khushi and I are not dating. I have a really strong bond with her. We’ve known each other for so long, and we have connected on many things,” he said.
After the release of The Archies, it was speculated that Khushi Kapoor was dating her co-star Vedang Raina, who played Reggie in the film. The duo sparked dating rumours after they were frequently spotted together around town. Vedang was also a part of Khushi’s intimate birthday lunch with Janhvi, her rumoured boyfriend Shikar Pahariya and Orry. He was also present for Khushi Kapoor’s Christmas celebrations with her close friends.
