Dunki: Anubhav Sinha Pens Stellar Review Of Shah Rukh Khan's Film, Says 'Maza Aa Gaya

Dunki was released in the theaters today and in no time started ruling the hearts of the audience. While the film has been receiving humongous love from all over the world, it has now received a praising words from director Anubhav Sinha. As the director watched the film with his entire office people, he seemed extremely overwhelmed. The director praised the film for its amazing story, direction of Rajkumar Hirani, and the performance of the cast. Having worked with SRK in Ra. One, Anubhav Sinha praised SRK’s incredible commitment to the role he played in the film.

While expressing his excitement on his social media, Anubhav Sinha shared some pictures with the entire team from the theater. He further jotted down the caption,”दफ़्तर से आज तीस लोग गये DUNKI देखने। मज़ा आ गया। राजू की सहजता से ईर्ष्या होती है। निर्देशक के लिए सहज होना सबसे मुश्किल काम होता है। पन्नू साहब ने कमाल काम किया है। दरअसल सारे एक्टर कमाल हैं। वो सारे एक्टर जिनसे मैं एक सीन की बात करता हूँ उन्हें उस एक्टर का सीन जा के देखना चाहिए जो शाह रुख़ का immigration interview करता है। कमाल। माफ़ी मुझे अभी तक नाम पता नहीं है। पता कर लूँगा। विक्की ने बहुत बढ़िया काम किया है। फ़िल्म हंसाती है, रुलाती है और साथ साथ घर आती है। शाह रुख़ के बारे में क्या कहूँ। मैं खुशनसीब हूँ कि मैंने उसके साथ ५ साल काम किया। अब मुझे पता नहीं है कि मैं उस शख़्स को ज़्यादा पसंद करता हूँ या उस एक्टर को। वो शख़्स इतन बड़ा स्टार है इतना बड़ा कि किसी भी देश में जाओ हिंदुस्तान को लोग उसके नाम से जानते हैं। पर फिर भी हर सीन में अपना सब कुछ डाल देना कोई उस से सीखे। छोटा सीन हो या बड़ा। सब कुछ डाल देता है। अपना सीन हो या किसी और का। उफ़। किसी और के सीन में महत्व का एक कोना पकड़ लेना कोई उस से सीखे। जा के देखें। ये swag वाली फ़िल्म नहीं है। उन फ़िल्मों में स्टार आप से दूर खड़ा होके करतब दिखाते है। ये वो फ़िल्म है जिसमें किरदार पास आ के बैठ जाते हैं और छू पाते हैं आपको। ज़िंदाबाद राजू। पिछले दिनों लंदन में ही एक अफ़ग़ान टैक्सी वाले सी बात चीत हुई। वो डंकी करके लंदन गया था २५ साल पहले। अब लंदन का पासपोर्ट है उसके पास। मैंने पूछा वापस जाने का में होता है? उसने एक साँस नहीं ली और बोला ‘बिलकुल’। अपना देश अपना होता है। देखिए।”

The translation read, “Thirty people went from office to see DUNKI today. Had fun. Jealous of Raju’s instinct. Being comfortable is the hardest job for a director. Pannu Saheb has done an amazing job. Actually all the actors are amazing. All the actors whom I talk about a scene should go and see the scene of that actor who does immigration interview of Shah Rukh. Awesome. Sorry I don’t know the name yet. I will find out. Vicky has done a great job. Movie makes you laugh, cry and comes home together.

What to say about Shah Rukh. I am blessed to have worked with her for 5 years. Now I don’t know if I like that person more or that actor. That person is such a big star so big that people know India by his name in any country. But still someone should learn from him to put his everything in every scene. Small scene or big. Puts everything in. Be it your own scene or someone else’s. Oops. Someone should learn from him to hold a corner of importance in someone else’s scene. Go check it out. This is not a swag movie. In those movies, the stars show their feat by standing away from you. This is the film in which the characters sit nearby and touch you. Long live Raju.
