Dino Morea Calls Ex-GF Bipasha Basu His Favourite Co-Star: 'She Was In Most Of My Movies...'

Dino Morea, a prominent model in the 1990s, debuted in Hindi movies in the late 1990s with Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. This marked him as part of a new generation of actors. Following this, his role in the 2002 film Raaz alongside Bipasha Basu became a highlight in his career. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Dino reflected on his debut film and referred to Bipasha as his most favourite co-star.

During their time together, Bipasha and Dino openly discussed their relationship, having dated each other. When asked about his favourite co-star from the early 2000s, Dino mentioned, “Bipasha, she was in most of my movies. She has to be my favourite co-star.” And when asked about the most iconic film of the early 2000s, Dino named his own film Raaz, co-starring Bipasha, and shared, “It was one of the biggest successes of 2002. That movie did hugely well even though we didn’t win a single award, which is very weird.”

Dino Morea fondly remembered his debut film Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, describing it as a lot of fun. He mentioned the excitement of traveling city to city for promotions, with the film’s songs already being a hit. He said, “We were going city to city promoting our film. The songs were already a hit.” He added, “I come out of the theatre, people were pulling my jacket. It was just fantastic.”

Dino revealed that he decided to take a hiatus from movies around 2011 because he wasn’t receiving the type of offers that could propel his career forward. “When films don’t work one after the other, you keep wondering what’s going on and that’s when I made the conscious decision to say no to any work that was really not good. And I made that decision in 2011-2012. Every offer that came to me after that was just terrible and I just said no. You just have to have faith in yourself.”
