On Wednesday, October 11, Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 81st birthday with his wife Jaya Bachchan and grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, and Aaradhya Bachchan. Navya shared a glimpse of the celebration on her Instagram Stories, featuring a photo where Big B stood in the middle, Navya posed with Aaradhya, and Jaya stood with Agastya. Not in the frame were Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Shweta Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan not only celebrated his birthday with his family but also greeted fans gathered outside his house at midnight. The actor waved at fans as they cheered for him and wished him on his special day. Shortly after, Big B took to his blog and wrote, “Your blessings my good fortune !”
Meanwhile, fans have been gathering outside the megastar’s house hoping to catch a glimpse of him on his special day. Fans, dressed as the actor’s iconic characters such as Coolie, Shahenshah and more held up happy birthday placards. They also sported his signature French-cute beard and salt and pepper hair. The video is going viral on the internet.
Sharing a family photo, Navya wrote, “Happy Birthday Nana.” She also shared a solo selfie with the Kaun Banega Crorepati host. Shortly after, Shweta took to her Instagram account and shared a photo collage featuring Amitabh from the in-house party. “Happy 81st Papa Big shoes ( and hugs ) no one can ever manage to fill ,” she wrote. The pictures received much love from everyone, including Ranveer Singh, Maheep Kapoor and Farah Khan Ali.
Recently, people noticed that Navya and Shweta didn’t share photos with Aishwarya and Aaradhya from their Paris event, even though they all attended together. Navya and Aishwarya were part of a fashion show for L’Oréal. While Shweta mentioned Navya, she didn’t tag Aishwarya. Navya also shared event photos without mentioning Aishwarya, making Aishwarya’s fans unhappy.
