The release of Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is just a month away and the makers have begun promoting the film in full swing. On early Thursday, the lead actor took to social media to brace audiences for the recall teaser of the upcoming film. Sharing a new poster featuring the Salgaonkar family, Ajay Devgn wrote, “Jo dikh raha hai woh hua nahi, jo hua hai woh kisi ko pata nahi! (What is seem has not happened and no one knows what has happened)".
The new poster captures a happy moment of Ajay Devgn aka Vijay Salgoankar enjoying a delicious meal with his family. But hidden behind the happiness is the constant fear of their family’s dark secret coming out.

The recall teaser is set to be released at 12 pm in the afternoon. Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel. Take a look at the announcement below:

This comes just a day after Ajay Devgn shared yet another poster of the film. While the latest one captures a happy moment, the last poster saw the four members of the family hiding pieces of evidence of their crime. In the first instalment, the Salgaonkar family covers up a murder stating they were attending a Satsang on October 2nd and 3rd and thus were out of time when the crime took place. While sharing the previous poster, Ajay Devgn asked, “2 aur 3 October ko kya hua tha yaad hai na? (What happened on October 2nd and 3rd?) Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family." The first part of the film traced the mysterious disappearance of a policewoman’s son. An illiterate man’s family gets caught in the spiral of allegation as he leaves no stone unturned to protect the reputation of his family. While the secret of the murder is safe, the Salgaonkar family’s peace has been deeply affected by the dark secret. The upcoming film will showcase how the investigation of the case reopens and Salgaonkar tackles every obstacle in his way to shield his family.
Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the crime thriller is the remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name. Drishyam 2 will hit the big screens on November 18.
