Previously, Samarth Jurel’s father also reacted to the controversy and argued that his son's action were not provocative.

Everyone was left shocked when Abhishek Kumar slapped Samarth Jurel in the Bigg Boss 17 house. The incident grabbed everyone’s attention following which Abhishek was even eliminated from the controversial reality show. However, he was brought back after Salman Khan bashed Samarth and Isha for provoking him. In a recent interview, Abhishek Kumar’s mother also reacted to the entire incident.

Abhishek’s mother said that even though her son should not have slapped Samarth, it was only a reaction to the latter’s actions. “Woh haanth Uthana nahi tha, it was a reaction to action. Samarth was putting tissue in Abhishek’s mouth and he slapped. Whatever happened that day with Abhishek was totally wrong and very bad. Everyone knows that he has phobia and you are putting blanket on it, Dum ghoot sakta tha, anything could have happened. Samarth was forcefully putting tissue in his mouth. All this was right? Kahan tak sahi hai, Thappad toh kum hai Woh,” she told E-Times.

Previously, Samarth Jurel’s father also reacted to the controversy. He was speaking to Indian Express recently when he said, “I feel both Samarth and Abhishek were wrong in that situation, don’t know why both of them got hyper. Abhishek was more worked up and his hand touched Samarth, but it’s okay.”

However, he also argued that he would not call Samarth’s acts ‘provocative’. “What Samarth did with Abhishek, I will not call that poking or provocation, it was a fight that escalated. It could happen to us also if there was a fight at home,” he added.

Asked about the decision to bring Abhishek Kumar back on Bigg Boss 17, Samarth’s father said, “Bringing Abhishek back was Bigg Boss’ decision and I think it is okay.”

Both, Abhishek Kumar’s mother and Samarth Jurel’s father recently visited their sons inside the Bigg Boss 17 house as a part of the family week. Besides them, Munawar Faruqui’s sister, Ayesha Khan’s brother, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s respective mothers and Arun Shetty’s wife also visited their loved ones inside the controversial show. Isha Malviya’s father and Mannara Chopra’s sister also entered the show.
