Watch: Kantara Actor Rishab Shetty Takes Prabhas’ Bujji For A Spin

Kalki 2898 AD, the Pan-India sci-fi thriller — starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan — has been creating a buzz on social media since its announcement. Apart from the lead cast, the film also features Bujji, the one-of-a-kind custom-made 6-tonne beast of a car that plays sidekick to Prabhas in the film. Ever since the makers unveiled Bujji, the curiosity around the AI-powered vehicle continues to remain at its peak.

Now, in a recent update, the makers of the Kalki 2898 AD dropped a special video of Kantara star Rishab Shetty trying his hands on Bujji, the futuristic vehicle that resembles Batmobile.

In the video, team Kalki 2898 AD organised a special event for the Kantara actor in Kundapura, Karnataka. The clip begins with people welcoming Rishab and Bujji with traditional dhol beats. Later on, the actor takes Bujji for a joyride under the supervision of a crew member seated at the back. “KALKI X KANTARA @rishabshettyofficial gets his hands on #Bujji. #Kalki2898AD,” the video caption reads.

Talking about Bujji, the actor said in the video, “The glimpse in the teaser was enough for me to know the range of Bujji in the film.” He added, “It was an amazing experience to take Bujji for a spin.” He concluded by wishing team Kalki good luck and said, “All the best, Bhairavaa and Bujji. ‘Kalki’ is releasing on June 27. Go to the theaters and experience it on the big screen; all the best Prabhas sir.”

The makers of Kalki 2898 AD are leaving no stone unturned to promote their film. Recently, Business tycoon Anand Mahindra also tried his hands on Bujji.

Helmed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyajayanthi Movies, the film also stars Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben and Chemban Vinod Jose in pivotal roles.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on June 27 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Recently, the maker of Kalki 2898 AD dropped the official trailer of the film which received good responses from the fans.

Director SS Rajamouli also showered praises on team Kalki and wrote, “Power packed trailer it is…It sets the right mood and tone to watch the film FDFS. ‌ Amitabh ji, Darling and Deepika’s characters seem to have a lot of depth and are truly intriguing. I am still stuck on Kamal sir’s look and how he amazes as always Nagi… can’t wait to immerse into your world on the 27th!”
