Viswam Trailer: Gopichand-starrer Promises A Mix Of Action And Comedy
Gopichand looks brilliant in both the action and comedy scenes.

South actor Gopichand’s upcoming film Viswam’s theatrical trailer has been unveiled on YouTube. The trailer starts on a serious note with a terrorist announcing the start of terrorist acts across the country. At this point, Gopichand makes an entry in the trailer and is introduced as a soldier working at a border. The story takes a hilarious turn with the protagonist trying to fool VK Naresh’s family. Actress Kavya Thapar plays Gopichand’s lady love. Gopichand looks brilliant in both the action and comedy scenes. Kavya, Naresh, Pragathi, Vennela Kishore, VTV Ganesh, Rahul Ramakrishna and Sunil also feature in this film. Viswam has been directed by Sreenu Vaitla and KV Guhan has handled the cinematography part. Vishal Bharadwaj is in charge of the background music, while People Media Factory and Chitralayam Studios have produced the film. The trailer has garnered more than 19,00,000 views and counting.

Social media users are rooting for Viswam’s star cast and director in the comment section. One of the users commented, “I want this movie to be a good hit for Srinu Vaitla and Gopichand Anna". Others loved the comedy glimpses in the trailer.

As of now, Gopichand has been facing a string of flops for a long time, with the last unsuccessful film being, that is Bhimaa. Directed by Harsha, this film received poor reviews from the audience. The audience criticised the film’s comedy, romantic angle and also the action sequences. Some users also mentioned that the filmmakers have shown the women and the police officers in a bad light. Bhimaa stars an ensemble star cast of actors Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nassar, Mukesh Tiwari, VK Naresh and others. Backed by Sri Sathya Sai Arts, this film was released at the cinema halls on March 8, 2024.

Despite the failure of his films, Gopichand remains encouraged to act in more projects, especially commercial films. In an interview with the OTT Play, he was asked the reason for acting in many commercial films. He said that commercial films will never get outdated and are a part and parcel of Telugu cinema.
