TV actor Yash Pandit accused of rape on pretext of marriage

TV actor Yash Pandit has been booked for raping an actress on the pretext of marriage. The 34-year-old is absconding and has filed an anticipatory bail in sessions court of Mumbai.

According to media reports, Yash met the victim on the sets of a TV serial and became good friends until he proposed her for marriage. He then forced her to have unnatural sex in his car (parking area). The actor also took her to his apartment to make her meet his parents but again raped her making false promises of marriage. Soon after the incident, Yash started avoiding the victim and evaded her calls and messages. She finally filed an FIR against the TV actor.

Yash was seen in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and also as a contestant in ‘Splitsvilla’.
