South Korean model and actor, Song Seung Heon and actress Jeon Yeo Been are all set to grace the stage as presenters for the highly anticipated Daesang at the inaugural Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA). This event aims to celebrate the incredible talents of K-pop stars and singers from across Asia who have entertained audiences with their performances throughout the past year. The Daesang, often referred to as the Grand Prize, holds significant importance as it honours the most outstanding entertainer of the year. Talking about the presenter, the collaboration between Song Seung Heon, a seasoned actor synonymous with the Korean pop wave, and Jeon Yeo Been for presenting the Daesang award has generated significant buzz.
Actor Song Seung Heon, 47, boasts an impressive number of hit dramas and films, including Three Men and Three Women, East of Eden, and My Princess. Similarly, Jeon Yeo Been, 34, has gained critical acclaim for her standout performance in the independent film After My Death, which earned her accolades such as Actress of the Year at the Busan International Film Festival.
Together, Song Seung Heon and Jeon Yeo Been are expected to elevate the Asia Star Entertainer Awards to new heights, solidifying its position as a premier event in the entertainment industry.
The special event is set to take place on April 10, 2024, at the K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan, as officially declared by the organising committee of the ASEA, on February 2.
Designated as K-Arena, the venue initially opened its doors in September 2023 with a capacity of 20,000 seats, making it the world’s largest music-only concert hall, situated approximately 30 minutes from central Tokyo.
