Singham Again: Ranveer Singh Loves Wife Deepika Padukone's Massy Avatar, Says 'She's Classy But...'
Singham Again marks the next chapter in Rohit Shetty's cop universe, featuring an all-star cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.

10 years after Singham Returns comes the trailer of Singham Again, which marks the upcoming chapter in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. It has grabbed attention for being a modern-day adaptation of Ramayana and for its star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff. Audiences are also excited to watch Ranveer Singh (who reprises his character as Simmba) and Deepika Padukone (who essays the part of Lady Singham, Shakti Shetty) back on the big screen after Rohit’s Cirkus, which was their last onscreen outing.

Though Deepika was absent from the trailer launch event of Singham Again as she’s busy taking care of her newborn daughter, Ranveer made sure that his wife wasn’t missed. Talking about her, he said, “My wife is very classy but whenever she comes onscreen in a massy avatar, that brings me a lot of joy. And it’s only Rohit Shetty, the king of massy films, who can present her in that way. I love him.” He further quipped that Singham Again also marks his baby girl’s debut as Deepika was pregnant during its shoot.

With this film, Ranveer and Arjun come return to the screens a decade after Gunday. “I’m reunited with my aakhon ka tara, my dulhara, my baba,” he exclaimed. And referring to Tiger as his ‘man crush’, Ranveer remarked, “He’s a wonder boy. There is nobody in the world as special and specially skilled as Tiger. From dancing like Michale Jackson to fighting like Bruce Lee, I’m a huge fan and I’m hugely honoured to be sharing screen space with my brother.”

Excited to be working with Kareena for the first time, he added, “I’m so grateful to be part of cop universe and share screen space with my idols. I’ve been a fan of ma’am and working with her for the first time is truly special.” On a related note, Singham Again is slated for a release on November 1.
