Shatrughan Sinha has been hospitalized at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for a routine check-up, although specific details about his condition have not been disclosed. The veteran actor tripped in his dining room, as per Times Now, injuring his ribs.
Reportedly, the incident occurred on Monday, June 25, in his favourite relaxation spot at home. His daughter Sonakshi, who recently gained acclaim for her acting in Heeramandi and is newly married, was nearby and quickly offered assistance to prevent a more serious fall. A source told the publication, “You will find Shatru most of the time on the same sofa at the same spot. He loves to sit there and see news on TV. Most of his interviews too are conducted there only.” Sonakshi’s uncle, Pahlaj Nihalani also confirmed that the veteran actor is in the hospital. “Yes, Shatruji is in the hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow evening,” he said.
Meanwhile, the actor’s son, Luv Sinha, told indianexpress.com, “Dad had viral fever and weakness the last couple of days so we decided to admit him to the hospital.”
