Sara Ali Khan is having a busy March. Her two films Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan are all set to release on digital platforms. Today, Karan Johar took to his social media handle and shared a big update on Ae Watan Mere Watan. He revealed that the trailer of the film is all set to release on March 4. He also gave a glimpse of Sara’s look in the film.
In the video, Karan paid homage to some of India’s unsung heroes and their untold stories. He introduces the audience to Usha, a 22-year-old brave girl, who displayed unmatched courage and deep patriotism for the country during the 1942 Quit India Movement, using an underground radio to unite the nation against the British Raj. Her inspiring story of bravado compels the filmmaker to recall Sehmat Syed from Raazi, who got married into a Pakistani army family to spy on them, and PVC Captain Vikram Batra from Shershaah, who struck fear in enemy’s hearts, and made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation during the Kargil War. “Her words echoed through the airwaves, her dedication awakened the spirit of independence in every heart. Discover the story of this unsung hero in #AeWatanMereWatanOnPrime, Mar 21,” the video caption read.
