Munawar Faruqui, Sushmita Sen's Daughter Renee Arrive at Party in Same Car; Fans Say 'Why Is She...'

Munawar Faruqui has been grabbing headlines ever since he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17, which concluded last month. On Wednesday night, Munawar was spotted arriving at a party in style. He looked handsome as always in an off-white co-ord set which he teamed with a pair of matching sneakers. However, what grabbed everyone’s attention was Munawar’s company for the night. Munawar arrived with actor Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen at the party. The duo reached the venue in the same car.

Munawar and Renee were also joined by social media sensation Orry aka Orhan Awatramani. Renee kept it casual for the outing. She wore a peach strappy crop top and blue denim, and completed her look with high heels. While Munawar and Renee arrived together, they did not pose together for the paparazzi.

Needless to say, netizens were surprised to see them together. One commented, “What is Sushmita Sen’s daughter doing with them?” Another one asked, “Why is Sushmita Sen’s daughter there?” A third user wrote, “That is Renee? Sushmita Sen’s daughter?”

Renee made her acting debut in the 2021 short film called Suttabaazi. She also lent her voice to the Mahamrityunjai mantra in Sushmita’s web series Taali. Speaking to Vogue India about venturing into acting, Renee had said, “I am going to make my own shoes and fill them. I am not my mother’s clone, so I don’t want to be another her. We are all individuals, and she always encourages us to be our own person—have our own opinions and share our opinions respectfully without hurting anyone’s sentiments.”

Meanwhile, Munawar Faruqui recently hosted an intimate bash for his friends in Mumbai after winning Bigg Boss 17. Several videos from the party went viral on social media.
