Farhan Akhtar is a versatile actor who has donned many hats throughout his career spanning over three decades. From Rock On!! to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, the actor has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood. While he started off as an assistant director in 1991, he later ventured into writing and direction. Farhan Akhtar made his directorial debut with Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 and the film turned out to be a cult classic. Apart from being a successful professional, the actor-director is also a doting father. He recently celebrated his daughter Akira’s birthday and shared a heartwarming post featuring the birthday girl and himself.

Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram handle and penned a loving note, “It’s your birthday beautiful girl .. @akiraakhtar wish you all the happiness in the world. Love you more than you know.”

Farhan Akhtar’s second wife Shibani Dandekar dropped hearts for the birthday girl while her sister Anusha Dandekar noted, “Happy happy birthday Akiraaa hugs and so much love.” Ranveer Singh also dropped red hearts on the comment box.

The road-trip oriented movie will see Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in pivotal roles. Jee Le Zaraa promises to be another saga of friendship after the lineage of Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Farhan Akhtar will also helm Don 3 headlined by Ranveer Singh.
