Kriti Sanon Says Her Roles In Both Mimi And TBAUJ Were Challenging: 'One Made People Cry And...'

National Award-winning actress Kriti Sanon, has been basking in the blockbuster days following the success of her latest film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Recently, she took to social media for a fun question and answer session with fans using the hashtag #AskKriti. When asked about her toughest character to play — between Mimi and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya – she said that both were challenging in their own ways, one evoking tears and the other laughter.

One of Kriti Sanon’s memorable performances was as the robot Sifra in the recently released Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, where her comic timing won the hearts of the audience. The film also starred Shahid Kapoor. Her performance in Mimi, where she played an aspiring actress, who agrees to become a surrogate for an American couple in order to fund her career, was recognised with a National Award. Taking to social media, when a fan asked her “Which character was tough to play ??” she replied with, “Both were challenging in their own way.. one made people cry, the other made them laugh! haina? #AskKriti”. The actress will be next seen in The Crew. The film, starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti , is a comedy dotted with misunderstandings and mishaps, set in the challenging airline industry. It is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. In the teaser that released recently, the actors are seen as flight attendants, sporting sharp, red uniforms, and are seen walking together inside an airport with their backs to the camera. It is slated to release in March 2024. Kriti also has Do Patti under her own production, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and with Kajol co-starring with her.
