‘Kinda Weird’: Heidi Klum, Daughter Leni Slammed For Joint Lingerie Campaign

Model Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni have gotten embroiled in a controversy for taking part in a lingerie campaign. Naysayers condemned their decision to appear in this joint campaign. On Monday, Heidi Klum dropped a slew of pictures and a video on Instagram, promoting lingerie brand Intimissimi’s Fall-Winter collections. The pictures capture the mother-daughter duo posing for the camera donning various sets of lacey bralettes and underwear. The last slide featured a clip where Heidi Klum and Leni were seen showcasing their curves in the lingerie sets. They took turns to film each other, seemingly enjoying the shoot.

Along with the post, Heidi Klum wrote, “Our new Intimissimi FW Campaign is out now! Leni Klum and I had so much fun shooting this. Find us on billboards all over Germany and on TV.” Leni also posted some snaps of the campaign on her Instagram feed. The lingerie brand shared details about their “empowering, stylish collection” on their timeline as well.

Soon after the posts surfaced on the internet, people reacted to them negatively. Calling out Leni Klum, a person said, “Quite strange to do this with your mum”. Echoing a similar sentiment another said, “This is kinda weird.”

“This genuinely feels wrong. Stop shooting lingerie with your mom,” criticised a user. An individual revealed that the campaign gave her a “no feeling”.

A few, however, stood in support of Heidi and Leni Klum. “BEAUTIFUL. I don’t understand the comments that say it is weird to do this with your mom. To me, this is just a mother and daughter who are like best friends. LOVE IT!” read a remark. “Two beautiful ladies! I can’t imagine why anyone would be critical of this. People have been modelling underwear forever,” commented someone else. Others cheered for the mother and daughter pair by dropping red hearts.

Heidi Klum and her daughter are yet to comment on this matter. This is not the first time that Heidi, 51 and Leni, 20 participated in lingerie shoots for Intimissimi. They collaborated with the Italian lingerie company last year in October and November for a holiday campaign.
