Kamal Haasan Unveils Poster Of Actor Santhanam's Film Inga Naan Thaan Kingu
Inga Naan Thaan Kingu boasts of an ensemble cast starring Vivek Prasanna, Munishkanth, Thambi Ramaiah and others.

Santhanam, a prominent figure in Tamil cinema renowned for his comedic prowess, is gearing up for his upcoming film Inga Naan Thaan Kingu, directed by Anand Narayan. The film garnered heightened anticipation after its poster was unveiled by none other than Kamal Haasan on February 28. Kamal’s Tamil caption loosely translates to, “My dear friend, I am pleased to announce the title and poster of the new film produced by Sushmita Anbushezhian and starring Thambi Santhanam, presented by Gopuram Films Anbushezhian.” The poster features Santhanam surrounded by people, exuding joy as he strikes a pose for the camera.

Inga Naan Thaan Kingu boasts an ensemble cast including Vivek Prasanna, Munishkanth, Thambi Ramaiah and others. Priyalaya will make her debut as the lead actress, alongside the late actor Manobala, who passed away on May 3, 2023, in Chennai at the age of 69.

On the technical front, cinematographer Om Narayan captures the visual appeal of Inga Naan Thaan Kingu, while M Thiyagarajan’s editing and D Imman’s musical compositions are expected to enhance the cinematic experience. Sushmitha Anbuchezhian will produce the film under the presentation of G.N. Anbuchezhian’s Gopuram Films.

Santhanam is currently enjoying the success of his film Vadakkupatti Ramasamy at the box office. Fans have praised the film for its blend of comedy and themes of faith, lauding Santhanam’s performance and comic timing. Additionally, actors Nizhalgal Ravi and Motta Rajendran received acclaim for their comedic skills. Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, directed by Karthik Yogi and produced by People Media Factory, also features Megha Akash, MS Bhaskar, John Vijay, Cool Suresh, Tamizh and others.

Vadakkupatti Ramasamy faced controversy before its release, with its trailer stirring headlines over the lead character’s comments on the non-existence of God, sparking protests. Furthermore, a dialogue critiquing Dravidian ideologue Erode Venkatappa Ramasamy drew criticism from some viewers.
