Kaagaz 2: Trailer Of Satish Kaushik's Last Film Starring Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta OUT, Watch

Satish Kaushik’s last film, ‘Kaagaz 2’, has released its trailer today. The film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, and Neena Gupta. It is set to hit cinemas on March 1st 2024. Directed by VK Prakash and produced by Shashi Satish Kaushik, Ratan Jain, and Ganesh Jain, the film is a joint production of Satish Kaushik Entertainment LLP & Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Taking to his Instagram handle, one of the closest friends of Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher shared the trailer with a heartfelt caption. He wrote, “Presenting the trailer of my friend #SatishKaushik’s passion project #Kaagaz2 ! Yeh sirf mudda nahi, yeh har aadmi ke emotions hai…. #Kaagaz2Trailer Out Now! #Kaagaz2 Releasing in cinemas on 1st Mar! .”

The trailer tells the gripping story of a common man and his struggle against the system, after the loss of a loved one to the rampant politics of rallies, bandh, protests etc. It also highlights the interpersonal conflicts and the long winding road to justice, that is riddled with potholes.

Ratan Jain, the producer from Venus Films, expressed, “My association with Satish ji goes way back. He directed a film for my company, and we produced several films together. ‘Kaagaz 2’ holds a special place in his heart. It is a trib ute to my dear friend.”

He further added, “The film’s unique selling point lies in the message: ‘Do not block others’ paths to pave your own. Political rallies and protests often cause traffic jams, inconveniencing common people.'”

“Kaagaz,” starring Pankaj Tripathi, was hailed as one of the most acclaimed films of 2021. The sequel, “Kaagaz 2,” continues the legacy of the original.
