Actor Thalapathy Vijay is currently making headlines for his newly launched political party, Thamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam. In a media interaction, he said that his party would not participate in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but wanted to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu polls. He added that after his 69th film, he will no longer act in films. After this news went viral, many political leaders and celebrities commented on Vijay. Meanwhile, actress Vani Bhojan has openly shared her opinion regarding this issue, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention.
In a recent media interaction, the actress said, “Anyone can join politics if they want to do good. I welcome actor Vijay’s political entry. Let’s give him a chance too. Let’s see what he does. When I was doing a Sinhala web series, I also wanted to be in politics, and I still have a desire to join politics.”
Meanwhile, a report by The Times of India quoted Vijay and stated that the party’s objective is to provide the political change desired by the people.
On the work front, actress Vani Bhojan predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her Telugu film debut in the year 2019 with Meeku Maathrame Cheptha and her Tamil film debut in the year 2019 with Oh My Kadavule.
She was last seen in the Tamil romantic thriller film Love. The film was directed by RP Bala in his directorial debut. It is a remake of the 2020 Malayalam movie of the same name. The film stars Bharath and Vani Bhojan in the lead roles, along with Vivek Prasanna, Radha Ravi, Daniel Annie Pope, Swayam Siddha and Adams in supporting roles. The music was composed by Ronnie Raphael, with cinematography by PG Muthiah and editing by Ajay Manoj.
On the other hand, Vijay was recently seen in the Tamil-language action thriller film Leo. The movie was a huge success and emerged as the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming science fiction action film, The Greatest of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu.
