Months after rekindling their romance, it seems model Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik have called it quits again. Following a brief split in March, the couple had announced on social media that they are back together. But things seem to have gone south between the two again, people.com reported.
The Victoria's Secret model had released a statement in March about their split: "Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years.. not only in the relationship, but in life in general. I'm forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be. xG"
By the end of April, though, the pair were spotted kissing again, and confirmed they were back on with a number of loved up Instagram posts and a telling response to a fan from Gigi.
But there has been no confirmation from them about the split this time around.
Zayn and Gigi first started dating in November 2015, but stirred up first rumours of their split when Malik, 25, didn’t sit in the audience of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November to cheer on the 23-year-old runway regular, as he has done in previous years. The pair have not appeared on each other’s social media feeds over the past few months, and most recently appeared to spend the holidays apart.
Gigi posted the last photo of them together in October 2018.
Zayn is also no longer following Gigi on Instagram.
On December 12, Gigi was noticeably absent from the party that Zayn hosted for his new album, Icarus Falls. On the same day, she instead posted photos to Instagram of herself cuddling up to a horse with the caption, “Preferred house guest,” and made no mention of Zayan's music. The former One Direction member also appeared to be a no-show at mutual pal Taylor Swift‘s New Year’s Eve party, where Gigi was dressed as Mary Poppins.
