Rishab Shetty is among the most popular actors in the South Indian film industry. He rose to prominence after his film Kantara became a nationwide success. The pan-India film became a huge hit and received a tremendous response from the masses. Since the release of Kantara, Rishab Shetty hasn’t done any other films. But it was reported that the actor was supposed to be a part of Bachelor Party, which was released in January this year. But the actor had to leave the film due to his commitment to the prequel to Kantara. Now, the actor has talked about the film Bachelor Party and appreciated the makers for making this laughter riot.
According to reports, Rishab Shetty was cast to play the role of Maddy in Bachelor Party. However, due to his prior commitment to the prequel to Kantara, he had to leave the film. Later, Sandalwood actor Yogesh was roped in to play the role. Now, during an interview, Rishab said that he had to leave the film but he liked the character played by Yogesh.
He added that it felt like it was made for him. He also mentioned that he felt extremely bad after missing out on the part but felt quite happy after seeing the film. Rishab Shetty further said that he couldn’t control his laughter, and even when he came out of the theatre after watching the film, he had a smile on his face. He also appreciated the cast members and revealed that this type of comedy film was needed in the Kannada film industry.
Bachelor Party is directed by Abhijit Mahesh and stars Dignath, Achyuth Kumar, and Yogesh in lead roles. The film is produced by Rakshit Shetty under the banner of Paramvah Studios. The comedy film was released on January 26 and received a good response from the audience.
Talking about Rishab Shetty’s next project, Kantara Chapter 1, the actor is going through immense physical transformation for the role. The makers also released the teaser for the film, which received a tremendous response. As per the teaser, the film will be a prequel to the first part.
