Divya Agarwal has confirmed that she will marry her fiance Apurva Padgaonkar on February 20, 2024. Their pre-wedding ceremonies will begin on February 18 with a Sangeet ceremony followed by Mahendi on the 19th. The couple will then tie the knot on the 20th at the actress’ house in Mumbai.
“We are getting married at home, and we are very proud of that decision because honestly, we didn’t want to go with the regular ideas. People book a five-star hotel, do all the festivities in the banquets and near the swimming pool, but I really wanted to do something offbeat. I wanted an experience,” Divya told E-Times.
The Bigg Boss OTT winner further shared it is an emotional yet happy moment for her. “I am happy at times and sad because I miss my father. I am very emotional yet very happy,” she added.
Divya further shared details about her wedding attires and shared, “We have selected a colour palette of red and purple. The pheras are going to be around the sunset. We have not seen the outfit yet, but quite excited.”
Divya Agarwal and Apurva Padgaonkar have been dating each other for a long time now. It was on Divya’s 30th birthday in 2022 when Apurva proposed to her for marriage. Later in December 2023, Divya shared a post on Instagram and announced their wedding.
Prior to Apurva, Divya was dating Varun Soon. However, the two announced their breakup in March 2022. Back then, the two issued a statement announcing that they were no longer dating each other. “Life is such a circus! Try n keep everyone happy, expect nothing that’s true but what happens when the self-love starts declining ?? No I don’t blame anyone for anything that’s happening to me…I feel worked up .. and that’s okay .. I want to breathe n live for myself .. that’s okay! I hereby formally declare that I’m on my own in this life and would like to take my time to live the way I want to!” the statement read.
