Austrian Actor Rohed Khan Says He Left Squid Games for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: 'It Is All Destined...'
International actor Rohed Khan revealed he chose Bade Miyan Chote Miyan over Squid Game 2 despite his sister's warning.

Actor Rohed Khan played a vital role in Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The Austrian actor was roped in to play the role of the head militant in the film. In a new interview, the actor revealed that he had signed Bade Miyan Chote Miyan over Squid Game 2. Rohed said that the Bollywood film and the hit K-drama’s second season were offered to him around the same time and the dates were clashing. As a result, he chose the Hindi film.

“I signed the contract for Squid Games but I chose BMCM over it. My sister told me to go for Squid Games but its all destined. There was a date clash too else I would done Squid Games too,” Rohed Khan told Free Press Journal. Bade Miyan released earlier this month, on the occasion of Eid. The big budget film was expected to do good business at the box office. However, it did not fair as per expectations.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan collected Rs 47.52 cr so far. Speaking about the film’s failure, Manushi Chillar said that the box office is under no one’s control. Speaking with Zoom TV, Manushi said, “I was like ‘Arey, mere to life me bohot kuchh overnight hua hai (I thought to myself that a lot in my life has happened overnight)’. Not that I haven’t worked hard for it. But I used to think that if I’m focused and dedicated, then I am sure I will get something out of it, and I have gotten something out of everything. But yes, as an actor, you want your films to do well.”

“You want people to watch you, to like you, like the film and enjoy and have a good time and feel entertained. Sometimes, it doesn’t happen which is completely normal. That’s something I have made peace with. For me, the only thing is I need to be doing a good job and exploring new things. I need to also have filmmakers see me do something on screen. So, I think that was my takeaway. Box office numbers are something that, as an actor, you don’t have any control over so whatever I don’t have control of, I don’t think much of it,” she said.
