Bollywood star and VJ Anusha Dandekar took to social media on Friday and shared some cutest of all pictures with a baby girl. The actress addressed her as an ‘angel’ and left netizens speculating if she has adopted a baby girl. While wishes started to pour in the comment section, the actress has now clarified that the girl is not her daughter.
Hours after dropping pictures, Anusha issued a statement on Instagram stories and clarified that the baby is her ‘god daughter’. “Hey everyone the outpour of love is completely loving and so sweet!! But she is my God Daughter!!! Hence I can finally call her my own,” she wrote.
In another Instagram story, Anusha dropped a picture of the baby girl’s ‘real mother and grandmother’. She further revealed that Sahara is like her daughter but is not actually her real daughter. “The Real mother Zoha and grandmother Sangeeta aunty of baby Sahara…I am the God Mother…means I vow to look after her whenever my best friend or Sahara needs me, throughout Sahara’s life forever and always! So that’s why she’s like a daughter to me BUT NOT my real daughter,” the actress added.
For the unversed, Anusha dropped a few pictures with a baby girl earlier today and wrote, “I finally have a little girl I can call my own… introducing this Angel of mine, Sahara… the ultimate love of my life. Monster and Gangsta and I are going to look after you, spoil you and protect you forever and always! ✨????✨ I Love you baby girl, your Mummy!” the caption read. However, Anushka is yet to share more details about her baby girl. However, Anusha later edited her caption and mentioned ‘God Daughter’ ahead of Sahara’s name.
Following this, several fans and friends flooded the comment section with wishes. “Congratulations darling,” wrote actress Karishma Tanna and dropped a red heart emoji.

On Women’s day this year, Anusha dropped her bikini pictures and shared an inspiring note. “This Woman’s day is probably my most special… I really feel like I’m coming into my own. Calmer (sometimes, unless you are really close to me then not yet haha) more sure of who I am, less people pleasing and more self-loving. Stronger, happier and basically my fearless younger self with much more knowledge. People think the worst insult is to call me old, I am older and I love being who I am and looking and feeling how I do!” a part of her post read.
