Darshan fans have been in a frenzy ever since his upcoming movie Devil- The Hero was announced. The shooting for the Milana fame director Prakash Veer is currently underway. As per reports, the Tarak actor will be portraying the role of an antagonist in the movie. After seeing the new look of the actor for his forthcoming flick, social media has been buzzing. However, now, fans are wondering who will be the lead heroine in the movie.
Challenging Star Darshan’s 57th project, Devil: The Hero was launched on November 2. But, who has been roped in as the actress for the movie? Well, the gossip mill is strife with reports that the Sri Ranga actress Rachana Rai will be the lead actress in the movie.
It has been revealed that the badminton player-actress, Rachana Rai, who was last seen in the 2023 movie Circus will be starring opposite Darshan in Devil: The Hero. The news has spread like wildfire and reportedly the actress’s fan following on social media increased. Reportedly, the first scheduled shooting for Devil: The Hero is over. The teaser will be released on Darshan’s birthday, on February 16, 2024.
The film team also held the muhurta of Devil: The Hero at the Dodda Mahaganapathi Temple in Bengaluru and shared it on X. The glimpses show a few members of the team with flower garlands around their necks. It also shows the first clap which was captured on camera.

Fans were quite ecstatic to see this update. A user commented, “All the best for your family Anna D Boss.” Another user requested the director to not create much build-up during an action scene. The comment read, “Hi sir action sequence should be natural don’t put more buildup.” Others are eagerly waiting to see the drama on the silver screen.
Vaishno Studios is financing Devil: The Hero and Santhosh Rao Pathaje taking on the role of cinematographer. On the work front, Darshan is known for his movies like Roberrt, Yajamana, Saarathi and Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna. He was last seen in the hit movie Kaatera. He also has Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka and Gandugali Madakari Nayaka in the pipeline.
