Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who's always known to be forthright in her ways, continues to make her point that pregnancy does not hinder a woman's career. She turned showstopper for the ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the much-awaited grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016. The actress has been breaking stereotypes and already been uninhibited about flaunting her baby bump at public appearances.
She looked like a million bucks in Sabyasachi's exquisite creation and flaunted her baby bump with panache. Radiating pregnancy glow, Kareena ended the week with a regal bang!
While speaking to media, Kareena said that the edition was different for her.
"Everyone made this edition so special for me. For me, its quite an emotional moment as this was the first time we (she and her future child) took the ramp together. It was a moment to cherish," the actress told reporters at the show conference after finale show.
She also says that she was not scared to walk the runway and her pregnancy can never be hindrance in anything.
"I was happy and confident. Pregnant woman can walk and fly and for me it's absolutely normal. When it comes to my work, acting is my passion and I will work till I die. As long as I am doing what I love, I am going to do that," she said.
The designer showcased a collection of lehangas, saris, dresses and some of the sharply cut menswear line at the finale show that left a mesmerising effect on audience that comprised of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, Karishma Kapoor, Kajal Agarwal and many more.
