When one talks of actresses Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut, the one common thing that one can think of, besides their fantabulous acting chops, is their impressive, distinct, chic and classy sartorial choices. And when the two B-town divas have such an eye for fashion and style, it is inevitable that both will look to the best designers from the fashion industry to source their outfits.
So, when the two stars -- Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut -- attended the Umang Mumbai Police Show 2018 on Sunday, both opted for the traditional Indian six-yard to sport at the event. In fact, not just that, both Deepika and Kangana chose ace designer Sabyasachi to source their sarees for the outing.
While Deepika looked ethereal in a 'classic Sabyasachi blouse with a modern retro twist and an organza saree, both embellished with jet beads', Kangana opted for a more traditional look, donning a 'traditional emerald green and rust kanjeevaram saree from Sabyasachi's Vasanthalaxmi collection'.
And while Deepika looked stunning pulling off a more modern look, Kangana looked spectacular in the traditional ensemble.
While Deepika opted for a classic chignon, winged eyeliner and a pair of large Zambian emerald studs to complete her look, Kangana rounded off her look with a neat center-parted low bun, a vintage South Indian choker, a bindi and earrings from the Sabyasachi Heritage collection.
Take a look.
