Adwoa Aboah Lands New Foundation Campaign For Marc Jacobs Beauty
British fashion star Aboah was first unveiled as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty back in November, when she modeled the new 'Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon' in her debut campaign for the brand.

Marc Jacobs is launching a new foundation, and who better than supermodel of the moment Adwoa Aboah to star in its campaign?

Dubbed "Shameless Youthful-look 24-h Longwear Foundation," the medium buildable foundation comes in a range of 29 different shades for varying skin tones and will make its debut in February. Its lightweight, oil-free formula is designed to hydrate the skin while also protecting it, thanks to the inclusion of an encapsulated SPF 25 that, according to Marc Jacobs Beauty, "never appears chalky on camera or ashy on any skin tone." The brand claims that the product, which is self-setting, will last all day due to its 24-hour longwear formula.

Aboah can be seen sporting the shade "Tan y400" for the campaign, which was shot by fashion photographer David Sims. She has teamed the base product with the brand's "Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara," a "New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick" in the shade "Moody Margot," and "Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick" in "Mahogany."

British fashion star Aboah was first unveiled as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty back in November, when she modeled the new 'Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon' in her debut campaign for the brand. "Marc gave me my first fashion show in New York City," she said in a statement at the time. "It was a dream come true and from that point on, he has been one of my biggest supporters."

The campaign is the latest major coup for the supermodel, who was named "Model of the Year" at the 2017 fashion awards, after a stellar 12 months. From fronting major fashion campaigns for Dior, Miu Miu, H&M, Gap and many others, to strutting down the runway for most of the industry's biggest luxury houses, she saw her career skyrocket and caused a sensation when she was elected to be the cover star for editor Edward Enninful's first-ever issue of British Vogue in November. She is as well known for her activism as for her fashion credentials, having founded 'Gurls Talk,' an online platform that offers young women a space to discuss topics such as female identity, mental illness, addiction, sexuality and racial diversity.

"Shameless Youthful-look 24-h Longwear Foundation SPF 25" will launch globally in February 2018 in-store and online at Sephora and select Marc Jacobs Stores, as well as in department stores Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
