BANGALORE: The High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing on anticipatory bail applications filed by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa till August 26, and posted further hearing on a petition praying for quashing a portion of the Lokayukta report on illegal mining to August 25.Yeddyurappa has filled anticipatory bail applications in Upper Bhadra case and another case relating to illegal denotification of a land acquired by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).On August 18, the HC issued notices to the Lokayukta in both the cases. The Lokayukta sought an adjournment to file its objections to the bail applications filed by Yeddyurappa.The single bench of Justice L Narayanaswamy allowed time to the Lokayukta and adjourned the case for further hearing.Meanwhile, a division bench comprising Justice K L Manjunath and Justice H S Kempanna, adjourned till August 25 the hearing of the petition filed by Yeddyurappa praying for quashing a portion of the Lokayukta report on illegal mining. The bench adjourned the hearing after counsel for Yeddyurappa Sandeep Patil sought time till August 25.
