VS opens insurance employees meet

KOCHI: Those who are trying to destroy the insurance sector are giving an unlimited lease to incurable diseases, Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan said here on Sunday. He was talking at the inauguration of the 37th state-level meeting of the Kerala State General Insurance Employees’ Union (KSGIEU).A total of ten resolutions were unanimously passed at the meeting. General secretary of the union, C B Venugopal, provided members with details of the major decisions taken at the general council meeting.   KSGIEU south secretary G Anand gave away the prizes to winners of major examinations held last year.
