This comes as Visakhapatnam is slated to host an International Fleet Review in February first week.
The Visakhapatnam police have detained five suspects, who had reportedly fled from Odisha in a car that was registered in Delhi. The suspects held Iranian passports.
After the suspects fled, the Odisha Police had sounded high alert in the state, suspecting the absconders to be terrorists.
They had fled on Monday when they could not produce any proof of document for booking a hotel room. They fled in a Ford Ikon car with a Delhi registration number.
This comes as Visakhapatnam is slated to host an International Fleet Review in February first week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the event.
