Chennai: Three girl students of SVS Yoga Medical College at Kallakurichi near Villupuram in Tamil Nadu committed suicide on Saturday evening accusing the administration of charging excess fees, and blaming college chairman Vasuki Subramanian for their death.
Parents of one of the children said their daughters were murdered. They have filed a writ petition which will be heard by the Madras High Court. Later on Monday afternoon, Chairman of SVS college Vasuki surrendered before Tambaram JM court.
CNN-IBN exclusively accessed their suicide note where the girls blamed the college of fleecing money from them in the form of fees. The note says that they were forced to do menial jobs at college and not allowed to study.
