Following an argument on Tuesday night, Bibi Jaan got angered and she smothered her daughter to death using a pillow while the latter was deep asleep.
In the early morning, she informed her relatives from Kanchikacherla of Krishna district that her daughter died due to severe stomach pain and managed to shift the body in Kanchikacherla for burial.
