THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Discussions between the Cabinet sub-committee and private medical college managements held here on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy proved inconclusive.  More discussions are planned on February 20 and 21. The private medical colleges management association said it was prepared to accept the 50:50 seat quota arrangement and also reduced fee in government seats, but the fee for management seats should be increased from that of last year as expenses have shot up. The Inter-Church Council for Education also was prepared to accept the 50:50 quota, but argued that management quota fee should be applicable for merit seats also.  The next round of discussions with the medical colleges management association will be held on February 20 and with the Inter-Church Council on February 21.
