Syro-Malabar Laity Centre opened in Australia

KOCHI: The Syro-Malabar Church has opened a Laity Centre in Australia. Laity Commission chairman Mar Mathew Arakkal inaugurated the centre set up in Melbourne. The 12-day-long laity conferences in Australia have also concluded. Addressing the gathering Mar Arakkal exhorted the faithful to keep the Christian faith and the SyroMalabar tradition throughout their lives and pass them on to the new generation. Syro-Malabar Church coordinator in Australia Fr Francis Kolenchery presided over the function. Laity Commission secretary V C Sebastian delivered the keynote address.
