Sugarbabes regain sweetness
British band Sugarbabes was formed seven years ago and has gone through three different line-ups in that time.

London Despite losing one of it's memebers on Wednesday, chart - topping girl band Sugarbabes has not lost its sweetness.

A day after Mutya Buena's walk out from the band, Sugarbabes announced 21-year-old Amelle Berrabah, from Hampshire, UK as their new member. Berrabah was chosen by the group's management.

In a statement posted on the band's website, Buena said she had made the decision for personal reasons and would remain friends with the two remaining band members Heidi Range and Keisha Buchanan.

The British band was formed seven years ago and has gone through three different line-ups in that time, with only Buchanan left as a founding member.

The new Sugababes line-up will support Take That on their stadium tour next year. And their new single Red Dress is to be launched in March.

They have enjoyed four number one singles in the UK - Round Round, Push the Button, Freak Like Me and Hole in the Head - and were named best British dance act at the Brits in 2003.
