The arrests come ahead of a scheduled meeting between fishermen from both the countries on March 25 in Colombo.
Chennai: The Sri Lankan Navy on Thursday arrested 75 Indian fishermen from Tamil Nadu for allegedly trespassing into its waters.
The Sri Lankan Navy also seized around 17 boats belonging to the fishermen.
The arrests come ahead of a scheduled meeting between fishermen from both the countries on March 25 in Colombo.
