New Delhi: Hockey India's handling of the MK kaushik sexual harassment case hasn't gone down too well with either the sports ministry or its own disciplinary pane.
In fact sources have told CNN-IBN that the panel is fuming that their report has been tossed aside and hockey India has made its own recommendation.
One member told CNN-IBN that there was no point in setting up a panel in the first place if Hockey India was determined to pass its own judgement.
Sources in the sports ministry though reveal that Hockey India's report blacklisting Kaushik will not count for anything as it was an adhoc body itself.
The ministry will form its own inquiry panel according to government and supreme court guidelines to look into the matter after it receives the report from Hockey India.
